Blurred screen before sign in on OS Sierra

I Installed OS Sierra on the first day and everything seems fine except that the colour picture of the mountains prior to putting user name and password etc in is blurred! When the machine completes the boot up process everything works well. Does anyone have an answer to this or should I reinstall Sierra? Thank you for your help.

Have this issue as well. I tried replacing the blurry com.apple.desktop.admin.png with its clear counterpart Sierra.jpg, then renaming the jpg the same name of the png in the orig cache location but the system still defaults to a blurred version when logging in.

Desktops are almost 24/7 design elements in an office or room, and this overly blurred backdrop is not desirable.

Anyone have a workaround?

Update: Want to clarify prior post. The blurry mountain scene was in reference to the picture that comes up when you put your computer in 'sleep mode or lock mode' and then re-enter your password to wake it up.

The question was not in reference to the desktop background after you are logged in, and it was not in reference to the picture that comes up after hard boot or restart of the computer itself.

The blurry image I want to get rid of/replace is the blurry sierra image after awakening from sleep mode. I was able to change the other two (regular desktop & main login images), but not the sleep mode image. Many thanks to anyone that can assist.
